उत्तराखंड में हो रहे 38वें राष्ट्रीय खेल में महज 17 दिन शेष रह गए हैं। इसमें पूरे देश से 9728 महिला-पुरुष खिलाड़ी सहित 15613 लोग शामिल होंगे। नेशनल गेम्स को सकुशल संपन्न कराने की सभी तैयारियां अंतिम चरण में हैं। प्रदेश में राजधानी देहरादून सहित आठ जिलों में 44 इवेंट खेली जानी हैं।

जनवरी में शुरू होने वाले 38वें राष्ट्रीय खेलों की सुरक्षा व्यवस्था पर आईजी नीलेश आनंद भरणे ने कहा कि पुलिस विभाग खेल सचिव के साथ लगातार समन्वय में है। जिन टीमों को नियुक्त किया गया है, उन्होंने सभी आयोजन स्थलों का दौरा किया है। मुख्य आयोजन स्थलों पर आठ कंट्रोल रूम का संचालन शुरू हो गया है। हम लगातार एक-दूसरे से समन्वय कर रहे हैं। दस हजार से ज्यादा खिलाड़ी यहां आएंगे। हमने केंद्र से अर्धसैनिक बलों की भी मांग की है, तैयारी जोरशोर से चल रही है।
